Blockchain MMORPG Domi Online is going live on September 30th, at 6 PM UTC+1 for a quick but crucial 24-hour open stress test that anyone can participate in to help the developers in checking the stability of their networking servers so that they can ensure a smooth full release at some point in the future. That being said, this isn’t the official launch, but an important test session that will likely help in determining the actual release date. The official release date will be announced at some point after the studio reviews analytics data from this testing period.
What Can You Do in the Domi Online Open Stress Test?
This open stress test is designed to help analyze specific gameplay features and server performance. Once it begins, you will be able to download the latest open alpha build for free for the very first time and create an account to jump into this 3D fantasy world, of which only a limited part of it will actually be possible to explore in this phase. Next to seeing a glimpse of the game’s map, you will get to enjoy combat, swim, practice basic skills, chat with other players and express yourself with various emotes. Character progression will be reset and your character deleted once the test is over, but your account will continue to remain, so you won’t need to do that part again at least later on.
The reason why this test will only last for around 24 hours is so that there are many players joining and playing at the same time, making it a great way to test server performance under heavy load.

Are There Any Rewards in the Domi Online Open Stress Test?
At the time of writing, the developers haven’t officially announced any rewards for participating in this public test session. Given that players won’t have their accounts deleted after the test is over, I assume that there is a possibility for the team to give out special surprise rewards to its loyal community in the future for helping out, but overall, nobody knows if that will be the case. That could also depend on the game’s future success. Either way, if nothing regarding rewards gets announced later this week, then you likely shouldn’t expect much on that front, but if you like these kinds of games and would like to support the developers in delivering a successful MMO in web3, then this playtest is a great way to help them do just that, and who knows, your time spent testing could one day end up getting rewarded.
