Season 1 on Based MC launched with some ground rules that dictate how players interact with the environment and themselves. The rules are as follows;
- Players can engage in griefing, PvP battles, raiding, and stealing resources of other players. Everything is allowed, which means there cannot be any trust among random players.

- There are over 340 bonding curves with 10,000 tokens in each, which means 3.4% of the total token supply. The set token limit on curves ensures that cheaters in the game don’t get too far ahead of other players.
- Finally, players who are caught cheating are punished heavily and the game is built with an anti-cheat mode.

In Based MC, players can earn and spend tokens on a wide range of activities. Players can trade items with each other through the dedicated portal on the website. In addition to this, several in-game items are available to buy on the marketplace, and all transactions are shared on the Based MC’s discord channel.
