Call of VoYd
In Call of VoYd, as players progress, they unlock new characters, and pets and, through them, new abilities that are used to take on enemy hordes. Every character and pet brings along new abilities, and the players must use the unique skill set to eliminate enemies.
It rests on a player’s understanding of how they can combine unique variations to improve their chances of success. In addition to collecting new characters and pets, players compete to sustain their place on the leaderboard. It’s a game of survival of the fittest, encouraging players to experience the excitement of playing strategically.
Storyline and Gameplay
Call of VoYd represents a mysterious portal that has recently opened up. But it’s filled with dangerous enemies and multiple dangers. The legend says only those brave enough to enter the portal will have the opportunity to come out victorious. The portal is portrayed as a mysterious place filled with chaos and life-threatening twists.
As players progress ahead in the game, they will come across similar brave hearts, and together, everyone must defeat all the enemies to come out victorious. The gameplay is simple to understand. Players must navigate through the terrain while avoiding obstacles and eliminating enemies to survive for as long as they can.
The game has automatic shooting, which allows players to focus on avoiding obstacles and just setting the right angle and maneuvering around the terrain. The farther a player progresses in the game, the difficulty level will increase proportionately. The longer a player survives, the higher points they will earn, along with collecting additional power-ups.
Call of VoYd works in a loop where the more a player engages with the game the more opportunities they get at winning in-game assets like NFTs, token currency, and characters. Given the higher number of assets, the chances of improving their characters and pets are also higher.
Roguelite Royale | A New Game Mode in Call of VoYd
Roguelite Royale is the battle royale mode where players use their more formidable heroes to compete for top ranks on the leaderboard. Here, too, players will progress ahead through in game worlds and participate in special events. Progressing ahead earns points, which adds to the overall score.
At the end of Battle Royale tournaments, players get rewards based on their scores in the form of VoYd tokens. Only players until the 50th rank receive rewards, and those below 50 don’t get anything except more chances to improve their game. The players also lose trophies for not coming into the top 50 ranks.
In Call of VoYd, trophies have a special role in helping players move ahead in leagues. Progressing in leagues the players have higher chances of receiving greater rewards.
Special Items and Assets in Call of VoYd
Access to special items and assets brings additional rewards and capabilities. The nature of these additional capabilities depends on the assets owned. In the game, players will come across the following;
- Heroes: They are the key elements of the game and players must fight to unlock new heroes as they progress in the game and achieve milestones. Every hero has a unique skill set and capabilities, primary weapons, and statistics. Players can choose which character to bring into the game according to the situation and goal.
- VoYd Heart: Every player receives a VoYd Heart at the beginning of the game, which works as a storage device for the player’s characters and progress level.
- VoYd Tokens: VoYd tokens are up for grabs throughout the game, which players can use to buy assets and invest.
- VoYd Petz: These are in-game companions that assist players in the game, boosting gaming statistics and helping pick up loot.
In addition to these, there are different types of weapons, bosses, and enemies. Bosses are more intimidating than enemies, given their massive size and raw power that can change the game dynamics. Players will ultimately fight bosses and every boss is unique, which means the former must adapt their game style according to the opponent.
Similarly, there are enemies with unique skills and the ability to instill damage in the characters. Enemies will put a player’s fighting skills, adeptness at the game, and strategic thinking to test.
As Call of VoYd gains traction and becomes popular, the Mystic Games team plans to launch other mobile games related to the same universe. These include Heroes of the VoYd, Guardians of the VoYd, and War of the VoYd. The production house’s treasury will support the development of these games. Eventually, Mystic Games will run things with a DAO where the community can actively participate in decision-making.
