Competitive arena combat game Moonray will have its upcoming October Battle Pass be fully free for everyone to progress through, making it possible for anyone to jump in and play to earn exclusive rewards.
What’s New in the Moonray October Battle Pass?
This battle pass will mark the debut of Dena and Aerom as the first seasonal characters, and next to them you will also be able to unlock icons, player frames, emotes, and more rewards as you level up. Grinding your way through this pass will also be rewarded with the Miium currency that you can then use to buy new characters as well as new skins, with the option to purchase them using fiat also included. It seems players can essentially choose whether to play and earn these characters and skins or to simply buy them using one of the two available payment methods.
While making the battle pass completely free for next month is a great gesture, the developers are not stopping there, as they’ve lined up a couple of more sweet updates for new and experienced players to enjoy so that October becomes a month for the community to remember.

The update is said to unlock Adam, Tenok, and Red Sword for players who have earned them, while Kan can be unlocked simply by connecting your wallet. That being said, Adam is set to become available as a trial character that new players can use to start gaining Miium in the new battle pass, making this a great time to start playing this fast-paced, melee-focused web3 game.

What Is Moonray?
Moonray is a free to play multiplayer arena game focused on fusing science and fantasy to deliver thrilling melee-focused third-person combat. It’s available in early access on the Epic Games Store, with combat designed to be played with a controller, according to the official FAQ section of the game’s store page. Based on the game’s own official website though, a Steam release is planned to arrive at some point in the future.
This intense skill-based web3 game uses the Ethereum network for its ERC-721 NFTs, which consist of skins and other cosmetic items that you can buy through the game and then trade on OpenSea.
