Mobile gaming studio and ecosystem InfiniGods has announced Avatar Pack Drop #5 for web3 mobile game King of Destiny is coming on Tuesday, August 20th at 12 PM EST, restocking supply with an additional 1000 Packs.
How to Buy Avatar Packs
Avatar Packs can only be bought in-app on the ThirdWeb and Arbitrum-powered King of Destiny Marketplace using the FATE offchain currency, which can be earned from winning tournaments but also bought in Piggy Bank form on the marketplace. The price of each Pack is 20 FATE, and you will be limited to 2 Packs per account for the first 15 minutes of the sale, so you can buy more afterwards if any from this replenished 1000 supply still remains.
What Do You Get From These Packs?
Each Pack contains one random Avatar that you can use as PFPs in the studio’s flagship free to play title, King of Destiny. Aside from being profile pictures and tradable collectible cosmetics of varying rarity, there doesn’t seem to be any other in-game utility for now, with more use cases to possibly be added later on.
What Are Piggy Banks?
Piggy Banks are mintable tradable ERC-1155 assets that can be loaded with FATE. As such, these assets are what actually enable the game’s player-owned economy, in which players can trade premium currencies and cosmetics. As you earn FATE through daily tournaments by ranking high enough, you can load the offchain currency into a Piggy Bank, and then sell it to other players who want to buy FATE. In order to get the FATE placed into a Piggy Bank, players need to burn the NFT to receive the currency. With enough FATE, you can buy limited edition Avatars representing various characters from the game.
About King of Destiny
King of Destiny is a free to play casual PvP and luck-based mobile game in which players win jackpots, fight monsters, build their empire and pillage each other to earn loot. Players build cities from various different eras and advance using coins won through gameplay. Form an army ready to attack enemy cities as you use monsters and natural disasters to completely destroy the opponent’s empire. Defend your own city and the ancient monuments you build to continue progressing through the web3 enhanced title. You also get to go back to the past and play through stages revolving around ancient mythologies and civilizations, meaning you’ll get to help Thor fight Loki and experience more stories from Norse, Greek, Egyptian, and Chinese mythology.
Next to PvE stages and PvP raids and defenses, players can also compete in various daily tournaments to earn the previously mentioned FATE currency alongside digital assets. Over time you also get to unlock bonus mini games that let you spin the wheel for daily rewards while opening magical chests for more prizes.
When it comes to web3 integrations, this game supports the interoperable Elder Gods and InfiniPasses. The Elder Gods is a genesis collection for the InfiniGods ecosystem featuring 20 types of gods from 4 different pantheons: Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Chinese. Each Elder God thus provides unique abilities to give you a more enjoyable gameplay experience. InfiniPasses grant exclusive benefits and come in 2 types: the Community Pass, and the Ultimate Pass. The Community Pass delivers in-game boosts, bonus earnings, and access to exclusive gameplay content, alongside allowlist access to future NFT mints. The Ultimate Pass comes with all of the benefits of the Community Pass, but also brings with it additional VIP perks, improved gameplay boosts, airdropped NFTs for each InfiniGods asset release, and more.
The game can be downloaded for free on Android and iOS devices through the Play Store and App Store respectively, with the Marketplace built as a PWA (Progressive Web App) to enable seamless web3 integration while still being able to comply with Apple’s App Store policies. Developer InfiniGods raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Pantera Capital earlier this year to expand this mobile title.
