Machiavellic Unveils Season 0.1, An Event Frenzy Filled with Battles, Hijacking, and Gathering Resources

Machiavellic’s inaugural event, “The Dawn of Conflict,” or Season 0.1, started on 22nd September, and the end date has not been updated yet. Season 0.1 will introduce the community to gameplay mechanics, PvP combat, and how to gather resources for the future. In total, the event will let players gather over $6000 worth of resources, tokens, and NFTs as they participate in Convoys, which represent a series of thrilling events.

What’s Included in Season 0.1 and How It’s Important?

The Dawn of Conflict will introduce several key elements to players, including PvP combat, where players must focus on raiding convoys to loot resources. The players will operate as Overloads and use their Officers to attack convoys while experiencing the core gameplay mechanics.

Overlords can recruit out of 2560 Officers and leverage their skills and loyalty to build attack and defensive strategies. A player’s gameplay approach can differ according to their roster of Officers, their weapons, and unique abilities.

The gameplay mechanics players experience in Season 0.1 and how they interact will help set the right course for the future. Using the player’s feedback and initial experiences, the development will plan further changes and updates for the game.

During this season, resources will follow into the Machiavellic universe, and the players can then engage in hijacking attempts to steal the supplies. Hence, it comes to building the right strategies and having enough firepower to gain control of the cargo.

In addition to the Combat mode, Season 0.1 also introduces Reconnaissance mode, where players will learn to expand their in-game assets through mining, hacking, and running assaults. This further mixes their gameplay with additional modes and enhances their experience over time. As Season 0.1 sets the game’s core elements, it also introduces players to the in-game economy and kicks off community engagement.

This season will also provide access to some unique in-game items that are meant to enhance a player’s gameplay experience for the upcoming seasons. Owning these items isn’t only a better experience, but they will also give a strategic advantage in the game.

Hijacking Convoys for Asset Creation

Every day until Season 0.1 is running, new convoys will arrive in 24 hours, and the players will get to attack and loot them. According to Machiavellic’s Discord announcements, the developers plan to introduce new and unique convoys; for instance, the convoys released on Sunday (13th October) will introduce NFT rewards as a new mechanic, and one Cardano OG Pass will be distributed with each convoy.

Unique Elements to be Introduced in Season 0.1

The season will bring along new in-game elements like Legendaries and Ammunition packs for the players. Here are the weapons and launches introduced in the season;

  1. The Void Sentinel
  2. Specter Scout
  3. Inferno Phaser
  4. Stormbreaker
  5. Oblivion Seeker
  6. Titan’s Wrath
  7. Havoc Reaper
  8. Eclipse Beam

With these, the players can also discover three new Ammunition Packs: Gold Power, Platinum Power, and Diamond Power.

In addition to these, the Convoys will give access to different tokens and NFTs.

How to Get Started with Season 0.1?

To participate in Season 0.1, the players must create an account on Machiavellic for a player account and connect their wallet compatible with Cardano or WAX blockchain. Once connected, build the in-game base (cabin) with the required items, including drones, weapons, and ammunition, which can be obtained via trading or purchased from the store.

To operate, players must own at least one Officer Commission Pass, and to leverage rewards outside of the in-game ecosystem, players must also own $150 worth of ADA.

As Overlords, players must gather their Officers and arm the entire fleet with weapons while harnessing $MACH and $TEARS. Once the Officers are equipped with the needed tools to survive in the game and dominate the convoys, fighting will become easier. The Overlords may then board their outfits and go to battles.

Who are Overloads, Officers, and What’s the Story Behind?

Overloads in Machiavellic are AI-powered splinters originating from a powerful source called Mainnet. These Overlords are meant to control and control Officer’s outfits. According to Machiavellic lore, the Overlords are intricately designed to obey the Mainnet. However, since they have developed their ambitions and desires the Overlords have built a relentless thirst for power.

The game’s universe is divided into ten factions, each one representing a different societal element. The Overlords operate in these ten factions, using Officers as their pawns to fulfill their jealous ambitions.
