Pirate Nation Season 2 has recently ended, and its culmination led to the initiation of the third Season. Important updates in the Second season included a revamped dashboard and accumulation of BOOTY points earned by completing in-game tasks. Season further expands on the BOOTY point system, which means players in Season 3 can access a broader range of rewards and additional opportunities for engagement.
Season 2 Paving Way for the Third Season
With the second season ending on November 7th, 2024, the Pirate Nation team shared the rewards system that follows. The $PIRATE rewards claim system will open up for eligible players, and the rewards provided are as follows.
- Players’ Eligibility for $PIRATE Rewards: Players with higher ranks, including BOOTY Lord, Dread BOOTY Master, BOOTY Master, Diamond, and Sapphire, will receive direct $PIRATE rewards.
- Raffle System for Players in Mid-Tier Ranks: Players who achieve mid-tier ranks, including Emerald, Ruby, and Gold, can participate in a Raffle system to win $PIRATE rewards. The rewards system in the raffle is based on a fixed percentage of players who will win rewards. 75% of Emerald-ranked, 50% of Ruby-ranked, and 25% of Gold-ranked players are eligible to win rewards.
While the team has shared the details on rewards, how much rewards will be made available is not yet disclosed. But it will be shared in the following days.
Changes and Improvements for Pirate Nation Season 3
Pirate Nation Season 3 started as soon as the Second Season ended, and the technical changes in the crafting system were introduced. In the 3rd Season, the crafting system moved from basic to a more strategic and feature-rich experience.
The Old Forge has been replaced with a Blacksmith, Loom, Workshop, and Foundry called the Big Four. The separation of the old forge means that if players want to craft spyglasses or cannons, they have to use a different building for this purpose.
The new crafting system enhances gameplay by enabling players to craft items they can integrate into ships. This enhances deck customization for the players. The new system also aims to integrate crafting rewards and mechanics into the early stages of the gameplay.
In addition to this, the third season’s new crafting system also has unique card crafting, which adds more depth to deck-building strategies. Treasure-seeking is vital for crafting because players will need Gold for crafting. Another important update includes how initial crafting levels will be capped at Level 3, but there’s scope for more changes based on player feedback.
Season 3 | Changes and Improvements that Follow
The third season of Pirate Nation brings about several updates and changes to the gameplay.
Pirate Nation’s Season 3, which launched on 14th November 2024, brings forth better transparency and fairness and offers diverse ways for players to compete. According to the new leaderboard system, players can participate in one, two, or all three leaderboard categories, and each leaderboard will record a unique set of points.
- BOOTY Points: These points can be earned exclusively by completing in-game quests. More importantly, all points earned will now be recorded on-chain as soulbound ERC1155 tokens, ensuring easy tracking.
- Collector Points: These points are provided to players for holding specific items in the game. In the economy, the Founder’s Pirates items have the highest point values.
-
Social Points: Pirate Nation players engaging in social activities and quests on the platform’s official accounts, including X and YouTube, can earn and get opportunities to maximize their points.
Enhancements in the Gameplay
Season 3 of Pirate Nation offers Increased Level Caps. For instance, Pirates and Ships can now reach Level 35, and Shipwright’s levels are capped at Level 2. Moreover, with the cooldown time of Shipwrights to 12 hours, their Level can increase to 5. As players upgrade their ships, they become eligible to receive different benefits like New Combat Cards, Increments in base HP, and Unlocking New Attachment Slots.
With upgrades to the Ships and Items, players will unlock new cards for their Pirates and employ them in combat. A new crafting building system is introduced in the third season. Out of the three Crafting Systems introduced, players can use resource trees to create more valuable and rare items for their gameplay.
Every Crafting Building in the game has a skill, which increases with usage. Upgrades to the buildings will also unlock new recipes. Players can specialize in Looms to acquire the skill of Weaving, use Workshops to become better at Craftsmanship and use the Foundry to hone the skill of Metallurgy.
The last notable change made to the gameplay in Season 3 is to the ships. Pirate Nation has made adjustments to Ship stats (check the image below).
Season 3 of Pirate Nation has recently kicked off, and more updates will continue to be made as players interact with the game.
