Rebel Cars to Start Pit Girl Mint on October 1st

Racing ecosystem Rebel Cars has announced the Pit Girl Blind Date Mint will start on October 1st at 5 PM UTC on its official Elysium-powered web store.

How the Rebel Cars Pit Girl Mint Works

This mint will come with a highly limited supply of 100 Pit Girls that will be up for grabs on a first come, first serve basis, with this supply being the maximum number of these NFTs that will be available until the end of the year, so you’ll have to wait untill some time in 2025 for the next sale. As this is being referred to as a selection event, you will probably have a chance of picking the NFT you’d like to mint instead of getting a random drop.

To participate in this sale, you need to be either a T1, T2, or T3 car owner. No price has been stated at the time of writing, so if it does end up actually being a free mint, you’ll only need to cover the gas fees in $LAVA, the gas token for Vulcan Forged’s Elysium network. More details are likely to soon follow. If you don’t own a Rebel Car NFT of the right tier, then you might still have a chance of participating by purchasing one using USDT or the ecosystem’s $RC token through the official store, or from other users by switching over to the dedicated marketplace section on the same website. The higher the tier number, the lower the price, making the Plymouth Cuda HG-BW the cheapest Tier 3 car NFT available at the time of writing. as it’s priced at $200, the same price as the Aston Martin AMR Vantage DTM 2019, which is currently on a 50% discount and still seems to be a work-in-progress Tier 3 NFT as the textures for the car model have yet to be finished.

What Are Rebel Cars Pit Girls?

Pit Girls are limited edition AI-powered NFTs that look set to provide continued benefits to car NFT owners as they participate in the Rebel Cars ecosystem and compete against each other in the online mode of the upcoming 3D blockchain racing game. They aren’t divided into tiers like cars are, at least that seems to be developer IXORvfx’s decision for the time being. Each Pit Girl has a unique backstory and differs in appearance, country, personality, education, and more. All of this is likely to affect the way these NFTs function later on when they become “AI Metahumans” in order to add an RPG element to the web3 racing experience, with their unique profiles and history shaping the way they continue to converse with players.

A lot of precise details on actual perks still seem to be up in air at the time of writing, so hopefully it won’t be long before exact info gets revealed.

About Rebel Cars

Rebel Cars is an NFT gaming ecosystem in which players can collect various different cars, own shares in race tracks, and potentially more assets while earning rewards in tournament races. The platform’s flagship real-time blockchain racing game will feature a single-player Career Mode, Online Mode, co-op, and Toouring Mode.

In the Career Mode, you’ll get to choose from a list of common car models as you learn the car mechanics and all the important features of the entire ecosystem. As you race in this mode you will earn rewards such as vehicles, customization parts, upgrades, and the in-game currency.

The Online Mode will feature both casual and competitive races paired with a skill-based matchmaking system, with the option to create racing clubs that can organize private races and club-exclusive competitions also set to be available. Co-op functionality will allow team members to customize and fine-tune vehicles collaboratively as they together decide on the car from their collections to use for the next race.

Touring Mode is all about exploring varied environments and enjoying the relaxing rides and beautiful landscapes while doing various assignments to gain rewards. This mode will also let players socialize, take part in road-trip events, and use a cinematic photo feature to take stunning pictures of your car against a nice backdrop.

The ecosystem will utilize what they call a GambleFi feature to enable online car racing bets through a transparent betting system with a 72-hour lock period. Everything is set to be recorded on the blockchain to ensure immutability, while races could have different criteria to determine which $RC token holders can participate in betting, meaning that some could be open for all, while others could be private or exclusive to VIP members only.

Speaking of VIP, the Rebel Cars team tweeted earlier this month that the end of September could mark the launch of a VIP demo that features arcade-style racing across 3 race tracks and 6 different layouts using McLaren and Mustang cars, with both keyboard and controller support included. It seems this demo will only be available to users who allocated 200 $PYR in a presale for the $RC token. Based on messages from an administrator and support staff in the ecosystem’s official Discord server, you can potentially look forward to a public demo launching in the end of October or early November.
