WorldShards is Preparing to Launch Additional Islands, Bringing Extra Perks to Gameplay

WorldShards is preparing to launch Additional Islands in a highly anticipated sale starting October 4th, allowing players to combine these islands with their Founder’s Island for enhanced gameplay. These in game assets will increase a player’s Building Capacity, provide extra construction area, and add artifact slots. Players will be able to own up to 5 Additional Islands, offering new opportunities and strategic advantages.

These extended islands and building systems are part of WorldShard’s Alpha release, which also features an extended Craft system, hunting, and repair system, and adds essential perks to the equipment.

What are Founder’s Islands and Additional Islands?

Founder’s Island was introduced early during the pre-alpha phase and was given as rewards to users who supported the development of WorldShards. Plus, players could also buy them from developers and other players. Founder’s Islands should not be confused with Additional Islands and the Main Island.

Players in WorldShards have a Main Island, but it does not have any artifact slots. By buying a Founder’s Island, players can replace it with their Main Island, which comes with several Artifact slots, depending on their rarity.

Since only one Founder’s Island is allowed to have an account, these are rare assets that also attract a high price. Founder’s Island has a higher capacity, which varies according to rarity. As the island’s rarity increases, their maximum issuance decreases, which represents the thumb rule of any market.

Additional Islands supplement a player’s existing Island, whether it’s Founder’s or Main. They add to the existing capacity and artifact slots. Additional Islands have three categories, Small, Medium, and Big.

Where Small Additional Islands increase capacity by 3500, Medium increase it by 5000 and Big by 6500. At the same time, they increase artifact slots by 2, 3, and 4, respectively.

Founder’s Islands provide additional assets in terms of higher capacity. Because they have additional elements, players can upgrade their main islands to look more beautiful and exclusive. In addition to this, players with Founder’s Island have the option to switch between islands for an even better experience and gameplay flexibility. Owning Founder’s Island isn’t mandatory, but for those who do own them, their gameplay is much better, and they can achieve end-game dominance.

Founder’s Island as a Long-Term Investment

Even though WorldShards is in its Alpha phase, the concept of Founder’s Islands and Additional Islands has been accepted well by the existing community. The value of Founder’s Islands will increase in the future, especially after the economy goes live. Players will also start collecting in-game items, the game’s official tokens, and Gems. Moreover, once live Founder’s Island owners will get an exclusive crafting discount.

At the end of the day, it’s simple to understand where Founder’s Island offers a unique way to upgrade the main island and enhance it’s long-term value while using early game perks. At the same time, Additional Islands provide more space, buildings, and artifacts to improve crafting mechanisms in the game.
