Guild Wars Coming to RavenQuest: Prepare for Battle and Rewards

RavenQuest, the Free to Play & Earn MMORPG, is launching an exciting new feature—Guild Wars. This mode will allow players ranked Member and above to participate in intense 15v15 battles. The goal is to capture and defend territory by seizing control of four strategically placed towers and the Golden Flag at the center of the battlefield. These weekly wars promise to bring high-stakes action, with rewards including Gold, Warforged Shards, and the glory of victory.

Battle Structure: Capture Towers and Control the Flag

The Guild Wars battles in RavenQuest will test players’ strategy and teamwork. The battlefield is divided into four towers—one in each corner. Each tower starts neutral, represented by a Gray Banner. Guilds will need to capture these towers by seizing the banners, which will change to their team’s color. Controlling a tower grants the guild 5 points every 15 seconds, and the war ends when one side reaches 2,500 Victory Points.

At the center of the battlefield lies the Golden Flag, an essential target for both guilds. Players who capture the flag and deliver it to one of the controlled towers earn an additional 50 points for their guild. However, the flag will be dropped if the player holding it dies or uses certain escape skills, making it a risky yet rewarding objective. Respawning happens at two designated shrines on the battlefield, without any death penalties, allowing players to jump back into the action quickly.

Guild Wars Schedule and Preparation

Guild Wars will take place once a week, with the first event scheduled for September 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. Before each war, a Bidding Phase will allow guilds to compete for a spot among the top 20 bidders. Guilds need to contribute silver to secure their position in the war. The higher a guild’s placement in the bidding, the better the bonuses they can earn during the war. Up to 30 guilds can participate in each war.

Once the bidding phase is complete, participants will enter the battlefield 30 minutes before the war begins. This time allows guild members to rally their team and finalize their strategies before the main gates open and the battle begins.

Guild Bank System: Fueling Your Guild’s Growth

To further enhance guild participation, RavenQuest has introduced the Guild Bank System, a shared resource for guild members to contribute silver. These funds can be used for guild activities, including Guild Wars. The Guild Bank is controlled by guild Leaders and Vice-Leaders, with all members able to deposit silver but unable to withdraw it. The system is transparent, as all members can see the balance and activity of the bank at any time.

Additionally, guilds can earn a 2% silver bonus from certain in-game activities like monster hunting, which is automatically deposited into the Guild Bank. This system encourages teamwork and financial contributions, providing guilds with the resources needed for bigger events and battles.

Guild Wars Rewards: Victory Comes with Riches

Winning and participating in Guild Wars comes with rewards. The outcome of the war, along with a guild’s performance in the bidding phase, will determine the amount of Gold earned.

  • Winning Guild Participants: 500 Gold, plus an additional 20 Gold for each placement in the bidding phase.
  • Losing Guild Participants: 200 Gold, plus an additional 10 Gold for each placement in the bidding phase.
  • Non-Participants from Winning Guild: 250 Gold, plus an additional 10 Gold for each placement in the bidding phase.
  • Non-Participants from Losing Guild: 100 Gold, plus an additional 5 Gold for each placement in the bidding phase.

These rewards encourage guilds to strategize and perform well in the bidding phase of RavenQuest, as well as during the actual battle. Gold and Warforged Shards earned from Guild Wars can be reinvested into guild activities or individual player progress.
