Developer Darewise has announced an update to the Mission to Dolos platform, introducing new quests for the Life Beyond community to earn points in while updating existing features.
What Is Life Beyond: Mission to Dolos?
Mission to Dolos is a social questing platform in which anyone can start completing various tasks to earn points to rank on a leaderboard that will likely reward users with the upcoming $BLIFE token, the core token powering the upcoming BLIFE Protocol that will enable support for creating native web3 applications on Bitcoin. This platform launched on August 27th with up to 1 million $BLIF tokens up for grabs post-TGE, and the most active community members could also end up getting various prizes as the platform continues to grow. While there is no definitive end date, the launch announcement in August mentioned the end of September as a potential deadline for the community to have in consideration while trying to rack up as many points as possible.
There are a couple of different types of quests you can do on this platform: Social Quests, Lore Quests, Discord Role-based Quests, and Secret Code Quests. Alongside all this is a referral system where the person you invite has to complete an unspecified number of quests in order for you to actually earn points from the invite.
Social Quests are your standard tasks in which you help spread visibility on this sci-fi metaverse across various social media platforms. Lore Quests challenge you to give the right answer to a lore-related question, requiring you to use the game’s Medium posts to find the right answer or a hint to point you in the right direction. If you give the wrong answer, you will earn fewer points.
Discord Role-based Quests are available only to members who have a certain role in the game’s official Discord server. Your role in the server is determined via the standard XP system from the MEE6 bot, so to get a higher role, you simply have to earn points by claiming daily points, reacting to Discord announcements, and engaging with tweets in various ways.
Secret Code Quests require users to input a special event code to complete them. You can only get these codes during weekly events though, so you may need to wait a bit for the chance to successfully do them.
As you use the platform (which requires creating an account and linking your X profile), you’ll get to learn more about the lore of this MMO, with new story content to be continuously added over time. Unlike some platforms of this type, this one doesn’t show you a list of quests to see straight away, but requires you to progress your way through story-based quests one by one, which can involve making social-based actions such as liking and retweeting tweets, You will also have a separate section for doing a certain number of weekly missions in a similar manner, with the system letting you skip a task in case you can’t do it yet to let you see and do the next one instead, so you don’t have to stay stuck waiting for a weekly event to do that one secret code-based task.
What’s New in the Latest Update to Mission to Dolos?
This new update further expands the dedicated questing platform of UE5 MMO Life Beyond with 11 new Lore Quests, 2 Social Quests, and 2 Discord Role Quests. If you did all the other tasks before, then now’s the time to return and unravel more interesting story content, but if this is your first time using the platform, then you’ll want to try and do as many quests as soon as possible, because the current leaderboard might be coming to a close soon. A total of 7.27k users have participated to date, accruing a total of 25.7 million points while completing a total of 159k tasks.
