Valannia is a strategy MMO game built on the Solana blockchain, integrating web3, NFTs, and crypto into a single platform. Inspired by the medieval fantasy era, players take the role of different avatars belonging to one of the 8 factions in the game.

Valannia Gameplay and Core Mechanics
Valannia combines traditional MMO with real-time strategy (RTS) in an open world where players play in combat mode, control their avatars, and command the troops. Players have the freedom to choose a game style according to their personality. For instance, passive players who like to stay behind the curtain can take and hone the role of a merchant, while socially active players can play as active members of the tavern in the capital city.
At the same time, there are options to go on adventures looking for treasures or follow a disinclined life by pursuing a life of military regimen. Players, while living their lives in one of the eight cities of the Valannia universe.
Three Zones for Gameplay in Valannia
Players interact with the Valannia universe in Green, Yellow, and Red zones. Green Zone is the social interaction circle where players engage with each other, trade, shop, build houses, etc. Then there’s the Yellow Zone, which begins outside the capitals and can be used for combat. Yellow zones are abundant with riches, and players can extract them, but they are also risky, as anyone can attack anybody.
The Red Zone is the deepest area of Valannia, which houses several unexplored and unknown secrets. Since the risk of entering the Red Zone is the highest, the rewards players can extract by exploring this area are also the highest. If a player dies in the Yellow Zone, they will lose some percentage of their inventory and have to repair their inventory. But dying in the Red Zone means permanently losing all assets, including NFTs.
Players interact with different gameplay elements
- Professions: Players can choose from different available professions, including explorer, merchant, engineer, transporter, architect, blacksmith, diplomat, spy, etc.
- Crafting Items: Crafting and enhancing in-game items is available through resources players can gather. However, the value of items that need rare resources or ones from hard-to-reach areas is higher than others.
- Mega Constructions: According to the player’s level in the game, they can access mega constructions to fulfill their responsibilities in political, military, and commercial activities.
- Valannia Arena: This is the crux of Valannia but represented in a battle mode where 1v1 and 2v2 fights happen. Participating in the fights requires NFTs as Arena is an open-world battlefield where players can direct their armies and heroes according to their attack abilities.
- Races of Valannia: Valannia has 8 races, where each has its own culture, philosophy. The races are Feyrune, Lerathi, Altari, Zan’thar, Tyxen, Glorb, Humanos, and Pirith.
Valannia Game Economics
Valannia has a massive in-game economy focusing on raw materials, resources, and in-game items, which players can trade any on the marketplace. The in-game economy runs with Valannium Gold, which is not a token. Then there are resources, Valannia tokens, and gems.
All these resources are available in the game and can be possessed by players by different interactions. For instance, gems are obtained through player vs environment (PvE) interactions.
Valannia Token Utility and Tokenomics
The Valannia token is different from Valannium Gold and both have their unique utilities. Valannia token is the primary medium of exchange outside the game, enabling players to interact with each other in the marketplace. The token can be used to buy and sell NFTs.
Moreover, it’s a mineable resource available in the most dangerous areas in the game, which are mostly present in the Red Zone.
Other than this, the Valannia token can be used for:
- Creating combat and special units;
- Construction work of structures and mega structures;
- Using the Tyxen machine,
- Completing improvements and technological advancements of in-game objects and items;
- Repairing structures;
- Voting and governance.
In Valannia, 94% of the tokens used for in-game transactions, be it for construction, enhancements, etc., are reintegrated into the game. Once reintegrated, the players can mine them, creating a sustainable cycle.
For in-game transactions where players have to exchange resources, Valannium Gold is the primary medium of exchange. Valannium Gold can be purchased with real money or Valannia tokens.
8% of the token supply is reserved for staking and yield farm, which is 960,000 tokens. Reserved with the vital purpose of rewarding and incentivizing players for better community participation, users can earn additional tokens by locking them for a fixed time.
There’s also a token burning system set to burn 2,500,000 tokens meant to increase the value of Valannia token. The burning mechanism is channeled through different in-game activities, including;
- Players must use tokens to participate in challenges and achievement tasks.
- Token will be burned according to the success and growth of the Valannia ecosystem.
- A small percentage of each transaction will be burned.
Valannia is built on Unreal Engine 5 and the full-scale game will be released in the next 2-4 years. However, the Valannia Arena, an MVP product, will come out by the end of 2024, where players can engage into 1v1 and 2v2 combat fights to earn rewards. Pre-register sequence for the arena is already live. Along with this, a browser-compatible MVP version of functional MMO boasting a functional economy will also be fully launched by the end of this year.

Valannia Arena is a free-to-play, competitive team game where you select a hero and combat units. You can begin playing with non-NFT heroes and combat units, with the option to unlock more as you progress.
