Heroes of Mavia Is Integrating Land NFTs Soon – Here Are the Benefits!

This October, Skrice Studios is officially set to integrate Land NFTs into its Base-powered mobile strategy game, Heroes of Mavia, giving holders a variety of benefits to enjoy for an enhanced web3 gaming experience.

What Benefits Do Heroes of Mavia Land NFT Holders Get?

Once Land NFT integration is complete, holders can look forward to seeing a number of useful in-game and marketplace-related benefits that provide advantages in certain factors without ruining the game’s economy. As revealed by the CEO of the Ruby Marketplace, Sterling, these include enhanced Ruby earnings and daily limits, priority access to special mint events, Land renting, Land partnerships, staking rewards, and marketplace voting.

Higher Ruby Earnings & Daily Limit

Land owners can look forward to seeing a boost to their Ruby earnings per battle alongside an increase in the daily Ruby earning limit. The rarity of your land plot affects the increase in daily limit and earnings.

Here’s how land rarity affects Ruby earnings per battle:

  • Common Land: 200%
  • Rare Land: 257.14%
  • Legendary Land: 350%

As for daily limits, Common Land gives you a 300% increase, while Rare Land comes with a 450% boost, and Legendary Land brings you a massive 700% higher daily limit over non-land holders.

Owning up to 10 extra lands will let you stack bonuses additively the following way:

  • Extra Common Land: +10%
  • Extra Rare Land: +20%
  • Extra Legendary Land: +30%

Special Mint Events

Next to higher Ruby earning opportunities, holders will also be the first ones to get access to special mint events. These include VIP Events and VIP Platinum Events, through which players will be able to mint exclusive rare NFTs “that can’t be found anywhere else.”

For the first 24 hours of VIP Events, landowners will be the first ones to get access. After 24 hours pass, the event will open up for everyone.

With VIP Platinum Events, it’s a bit different. The first 24 hours of these premium events are limited to Legendary landowners only. After the first 24 hours are up, the next 24 hours are open for Rare and Common Land holders, after which the event becomes open to free to play players.

Land Renting & Land Partnership

Land renting and partnership are said to be 2 technically and economically complex features that will be rolled out through 4 phases, with each phase set to last for about 3-4 weeks. Renting allows landholders to earn passive income by letting others use their plot for a limited time, while partnerships are actually scholarships where holders can share their plot with someone for free to give the scholar a higher daily Ruby limit and increased earnings per battle, with both sides sharing the earnings at an agreed rate.

In the first phase, likely starting once land gets integrated at some point this month, owners of Legendary Lands will be able to rent out their plots and form partnerships with Legendary Lands only. The second phase will allow Legendary Land owners to make partnerships with any type of land, while the third phase will open up both renting and partnerships for Rare Land holders. In the final phase, the rollout will be completed by enabling both features for Common Land holders as well.

This 4-phase rollout system ensures early access to new features for Legendary Land owners. Throughout these phases, only land owned for 90+ days can be rented out, with the restriction set to be lifted once the phases are over.

Staking Rewards & Ruby Marketplace Voting

Staking rewards for Land NFTs are planned to go live during November 2024 and will include special statues that will give land stakers a gameplay boost. One of the statues will only be available to owners of Legendary Land. Anything more specific for these exclusive NFTs has not been revealed at the time of writing, with the official thread mentioning that the 2 statues promised for long-timer NFT stakers are “coming very soon!”

The Ruby Marketplace will be getting a voting system implemented soon to allow landowners to vote on which new NFTs should get added next. More info on this system, which will probably be usable with the new Web Ruby Marketplace, will be unveiled in the future.

These are all the benefits holders can look forward to once Land NFT integration is completed this October. In the future, you might even see more benefits added to these assets when the web3 gaming studio launches a new blockchain game or introduces new features to Heroes of Mavia.
