Continuum World Launches Ancestral Recipe Sale Ahead of Black Friday Event

Continuum World has launched its much-anticipated Ancestral Recipe Sale, offering players exclusive in-game crafting opportunities ahead of its upcoming Black Friday event. The sale, which began earlier this week, provides unique biome-specific recipes available for only 24 hours each day. These recipes enable players to craft essential items like Chips, Batteries, and Lvlums, adding a new layer of strategic gameplay.

There are 3 types of Ancestral Recipes depending on the crafted item (Chips, Batteries or Lvlums); of each one of these types, 200 units have been created. Then, each biome has its own Ancestral Recipes. This means 200*6*3 = 3600 units. Even if all of these units are not sold during the current sale, all the units are created. Even though they won’t be available in the Shop again, the remaining units might appear as special rewards (ranking, etc.).

Ancestral Recipes: What Players Need to Know

The Ancestral Recipes introduced in this sale differ from regular NFT recipes, focusing on crafting special items rather than natural resources. According to the developers, these items will play a critical role in future gameplay, particularly with the release of First Settlers on December 3.

The recipes are limited in availability, with only 3,600 units across six biomes and three item types. Once sold out, they will no longer be available in the in-game shop, though unsold units may appear as rewards in future events. Players have already purchased recipes for the Forest and Grassland biomes, with additional biomes scheduled to rotate daily at 23:00 GMT.

Developers have addressed player concerns regarding a non-functional recipe reset feature, clarifying that the feature will be activated once the First Settlers update is live.

Black Friday Event Offers Expanded Opportunities

Continuum World’s Black Friday Sale is set to begin on November 28 and will run through December 2. In addition to discounts on shop items, the event will introduce two special recipe packs:

  • Recipe Capsule: Includes one random recipe from Uncommon to Legendary rarity.
  • Crafter Pack: Contains five random recipes from the same rarity range.

The drop rates for these recipes are consistent with other in-game systems:

  • Legendary: 5%
  • Epic: 15%
  • Rare: 30%
  • Uncommon: 50%

These NFT recipes will allow players to craft rare resources critical for missions, building construction, and other gameplay advancements.

System Updates and Player Questions Addressed

In preparation for the transition from First Explorers to First Settlers, Continuum World has temporarily paused certain features. Key updates include:

  • Crafting System: A new crafting system, accessible from the Missions menu, will become active with the First Settlers release. This system will allow crafting between seasons, offering a consistent way to recycle and utilize resources.
  • Decorations and Bonuses: Decorations, previously removed from biomes, will return with the new update. However, Totem Game bonuses remain active, allowing players with NFT Totems to continue earning rewards.
  • Game Migration: The First Settlers update will officially launch on December 3, introducing revamped mechanics and new systems to enhance gameplay.

Community Engagement and Support

The Ancestral Recipe Sale has already led to increased traffic, with developers expressing gratitude for the community’s support. To further engage players, Continuum World has answered several frequently asked questions, including crafting mechanics and recipe rarity distributions.
