Continuum World has finally made all the preparations for the First Settlers to enter their lands for the very first time on 3rd Dec 2024. The First Settlers, after entering their lands, can gather all the required resources, personalize them, and explore other biomes after entering the Continuum World.
What are the First Settlers on Continuum World?
First Settlers in Continuum World represent the original players and participants who joined the game early and supported the platform during its initial days. The First Settlers continued to provide support and gained exclusive access to lands, resources, and NFTs, benefitting from unique advantages.
As the First Settlers provide crucial support, they have proven instrumental in shaping the in-game economy and environment. Now that the First Settlers are about to enter the game for the first time, they will explore the ecosystem, farm, and manage resources with the aim of increasing their in-game assets.
Key Features and Capabilities of First Settlers Season 1
After wrapping up First Explored in December 2023, the Continuum World is now all geared up for First Settlers Season 1. The event is coming with much more than initially planned, including a better land ecology, crafting, construction, and much more.
Players will dive into immersive crafting, explore, and gather unique sources in the game with the help of their companions, UMi. The first season, which will be released on December 3rd, 2024, will set the foundation.
There’s a crafting mechanism First Settlers can use to combine existing resources to craft new materials. There are some general resources and some unique ones and the results will entirely depend on the resources used. Crafted materials are represented as NFT objects, which can be traded on the market. Every recipe (which players are supposed to acquire) used to create such materials is designated with a rarity ranging from Uncommon to Legendary.
In addition to crafting, First Settlers have another ability: Printer Builder. This feature is for those who don’t have a recipe to craft new materials. Printer Builder is an in-game structure that players can install on their land to produce materials without using specific recipes. Moreover, players without any land can enjoy Continuum Word on a shared basis. This means even if a player doesn’t own land but has a Printer Building, they can use another player’s land to curate materials.
Enhancing Gameplay with In-Game Functionalities
First, Settlers will open up to a new version of Continuum World as they come across functions to improve gameplay. Storage slots are required in the game to hold resources. From the initial 10 slots, where each one can hold 999 resources of one type, players will have the option to get more slots, up to 100. To unlock them, players must win them by completing challenging missions.
A host of new buildings are added to the gameplay, including Warehouse, Printer, House, Solar Panel, and Teleport. First, Settlers can upgrade their biomes with new decorations, which now apply to the entire biome instead of a single building, enhancing their visual appeal, productivity, and strategic positioning.
Available decorations players can use after the launch include;
- Torches: Use them to light up the biome and increase visibility, plus aesthetics.
- Obelisks: These are ancient structures that can be added to the biomes to enhance them with a historical feel.
- Vintage Machines: Retro decorative items add to the biome’s atmosphere, making it more industrial and boosting productivity rates.
- Jizos: Another item that enhances the biome’s aesthetics, Jizos improves the cultural richness of the biome.
- Stone Lanterns: A new item that pairs well with Jizos.
- Stained Glass: These cathedral-inspired glass decorations create cathedral-like environments within the biome.
But there are options to place decorations individually into a biome’s buildings or other areas either through the bioma menu or through the player’s avatar in land mode. Collecting all the decoration items attracts collection bonuses, and rare items will have a higher value in the marketplace.
The new update allows players to install and move 10 decorations per biome, enabling them to customize their biomes.
Two Events that Lead to the Final Release
According to an official announcement by the Continuum World team, the release of First Settlers will be preceded by two events. The first event will be held between 20 to 25th November, named NFT Ancestral Recipe Event.
In the event, 3 recipes will be available for purchase at 20 UM each. The event is special because Ancestral Recipes are only available in gacha (UM, random) form. But in the event, players can buy them directly in exchange for UM tokens.
The second event will run from 26 November to 3 December, and Continuum World will have amazing offers to celebrate Black Friday with the community. During this event, two special items that are worth checking out for a beginner player include the Crafting Starter Pack and NFT Recipe Gacha pack.
