Following this festive season, The Mystery Society has launched a special Halloween Event starting 18th October, and it will run until 6th November. The limited-period event is filled with Halloween-themes questions and challenges, which will enable users to earn rewards and find their names on the leaderboards. Some of the items acquired during the event can also be converted into NFTs, delivering additional value and making the event rewarding and memorable.
A Fun-Filled Event with Big Earnings Potential
Termed as a “spook-tacular” event by The Mystery Society community, the limited-time event has a lot to offer to the community. Players must collect trophies by participating in games that hold value. The earned trophies can be redeemed for $MYSTRY (an upcoming token yet to be launched).
The tournament comes bearing a new in-game currency, Gems. Gems can be purchased from the game store and it should be noted that these Gems aren’t blockchain-based. In other words, they are purely in-game assets and accessible to all players.
Gems can also be bought by completing tasks like checking in to play the game daily, earning points, and climbing on the leaderboard. Gems are exchanged to buy Halloween costumes from the game shop; the costumes attract event-specific bonuses. Every time players suit up in these costumes their score goes up, further increasing their points.
An official tweet by The Mystery Society declares that the costume bundle is priced at $59 or $9.99 when bought individually. There are ways to get the costumes for free, either as daily login rewards or climbing up on the leaderboard.
Every item in the costume will add points to the total. In addition to the normal costume bonus, there’s an additional Event Bonus of 1000 points per item. All of these points will prove beneficial for a player to win additional rewards in the game. One player can wear a maximum of 6 items at one time, which means they can earn up to 6000 points playing the game once with one costume.
As players can build their avatars, they can also customize them to improve in-game experience. According to the event rules, adding up points to climb the leaderboard offers a chance for the players to earn rare NFTs and additional gems. Moreover, there are two ways for players to double their rewards, including trophies, which can be redeemed, and IMX Gems.

What are IMX Gems?
IMX Gems are additional rewards players can earn in the immutable X ecosystem, which players can use to interact with the platform.
