The first week of December should mark the launch of the Farming Campaign for the Revomon ecosystem, giving everyone the opportunity to play to earn in 2 new Telegram mini-games for a chance at winning an airdrop of $TOM tokens, an upcoming memecoin and loyalty cryptocurrency on the TON network.
How Does the Revomon Farming Campaign Work?
The Farming Campaign revolves around earning points from a variety of tasks located on the ecosystem’s official dApp, with the points set to be converted into the upcoming $TOM memecoin.
According to what’s been revealed in the official Medium post, the community will be able to find a dedicated campaign page on the official dApp where users will be able to complete a wide range of different tasks. These tasks include social media and dApp-related missions as well as gameplay-focused quests spanning not just the monster-taming mobile and VR metaverse Revomon, but also 2 new Telegram mini-games launching in alpha with the start of the campaign: RevoRogue and Ton’s Monsters. To gain access to all of these tasks, you will need to login to the dApp with your Immutable Passport, after which you should link your Passport with your Telegram account.
While the developers continue to actively work on Novus, the overhauled version of their monster collectible game, the team is also looking to expand its IP in order to reach new players and thus further improve the value of the core $REVO token while giving stakers, land owners, and everyone a new layer of rewards. It’s also an attempt at taking advantage of the current hype surrounding memecoins while exploring the ever-growing world of TON and Telegram games. What Is RevoRogue?
RevoRogue is one of the 2 web3-powered Telegram games launching as part of the airdrop campaign. Initially revealed back in September, the turn-based mobile game will feature roguelike elements and gameplay inspired by monster-catching battle systems. The game will revolve around an Endless Wave Mode in which players fight their way through as many waves of enemies as they can in order to try and get the highest score. As you play, you will get to capture a variety of monsters that you can train and add to your team.
The enemies you face are said to be dynamic AI-controlled NPCs that react to your strategies accordingly, but you will be able to buy various items to use to your advantage for a better chance of reaching a higher score. Your high score will be converted into $TOM tokens, so try to get the best score that you can for a better chance of winning a bigger airdrop.
What Is Ton’s Monsters?
Ton’s Monsters is the 2nd Telegram game releasing for the farming campaign. It will combine the mechanics of trading card games with “the viral appeal of meme culture, akin to projects like $DOGS,” in order to deliver a blockchain gaming experience that is “similar to the new Pokémon collection game.”
This game is more focused on rewarding active Telegram users by using sharing features to complete your collection of monsters. Invite friends to catch more monsters and thus increase your score, with the referral system itself said to give users bonus tokens.
What Is the $TOM Token?
The $TOM token is an upcoming new loyalty memecoin designed to reward everyone who takes part in the new farming campaign. This means completing social tasks and playing RevoRogue and Ton’s Monsters will allow participants to claim a token airdrop “based on activity level.” The ticker itself is based on Ton’s Monsters, and while tokenomics have not yet been finalized, what we do know is that the TGE will take place at some point on TON. There are no plans to add utility on launch as this is merely a memecoin that the Revomon team is doing for fun in order to see if the token can become popular like others have while “adding some entertainment (with games) on the top of it.”
