First Light Games, the developer of top-down battle royale shooter Blast Royale, has officially announced that the migration of Corpo NFTs to the Ethereum network is now live, and all holders who take part in this process can expect to unlock a variety of benefits, including an airdrop of the web3 game’s upcoming $NOOB token.
How to Migrate Corpo NFTs to ETH
To migrate over to ETH, simply head over to the Blast Hub, connect your wallet, and click the “Migrate Corpos” button that can be found by opening the profile menu. You will be able to then pick the NFTs you’d like to migrate and complete the process by approving the two necessary transactions on both Polygon and Ethereum, meaning you’ll need tokens to cover gas fees on both networks. Doing this migration process will burn your NFTs on Polygon in order to mint them on ETH. If the page for some reasons closes after the NFTs are burned, don’t worry. Simply head back to the migration page where you will find a button that says “Continue Migration” to let you do the mint transaction on Ethereum.

What Are the Benefits of Migrating Corpo NFTs to ETH?
It looks like there are numerous benefits coming for Corpos NFT holders that choose to migrate to Ethereum. A lot of it remains a mystery for the time being though. What is known for certain is that holders will get an airdrop allocation of $NOOB tokens. Other perks teased so far include getting a bonus in an unnamed campaign event, as well as access to something not yet revealed. Those two perks won’t be everything for holders to enjoy though, as more benefits are also planned but not yet unveiled.
Next to all this future utility, the existing benefits will continue to remain. Those include exclusive giveaways, exclusive in-game skins for the NFTs you own, early access to inside info, and the power to make various decisions in the web3 game.
If you don’t own a Corpo NFT but would like to get one, you can now choose whether to get one on Polygon via OpenSea to then migrate, or get a migrated one on Ethereum already using the new collection pages now up and running on both OpenSea and Magic Eden. The floor price for the former is 1700 $POL (~$672), while for the latter it’s 0.17 $ETH (~$439). These assets are part of the game’s Genesis NFT collection, and its only NFTs from this collection that need to be migrated. Plague Doctors, the secondary NFT collection, will continue to stay on Immutable zkEVM, and you can find them on the Sphere marketplace. That one is a collection of 3333 cosmetic skins, and owning one in your hot or hardware wallet will now let you claim an exclusive free in-game skin that just recently got integrated into the mobile title, with support for Immutable Passport said to be coming soon.
About $NOOB
$NOOB is the upcoming ERC-20 token for free to play web3 mobile game Blast Royale, but also for its entire Blastverse ecosystem. Designed to power its economy and bring true player ownership, this token will let the community buy NFTs that can be used in-game, such as Avatars, Characters, Melee Weapons, and more. Using IMX technology, players will have the option to buy these items using $NOOB both in and out of the game itself. Next to having the ability to mint cosmetic NFTs in the game, being a $NOOB holder is also set to unlock game modes and more premium features. As is the case with most of these tokens, $NOOB will too let you participate in governance, but you’ll also be able to take part in high-stakes competitions, wagering and even sponsoring players competing in these tournaments. As the token will power multiple games, you can look forward to also using it in Blast Brigades once it goes live at some point in 2025, with NFTs possibly set to be interoperable with these future games as well.
To ensure a fair blockchain gaming experience for everyone, the game’s economy is centered around owning and trading cosmetics, so you won’t be getting a gameplay advantage for owning any purchasable NFT.
A total of 512 million $NOOB tokens will be minted to help fund the game’s development and expansion while rewarding both the web3 game studio and the early set of players enjoying the game. The token is also rewarded through gameplay-related features, meaning that you can get some of it by progressing your way through the paid Premium Blast Pass, ranking high in leaderboard competitions, as well as by winning in various events and activities that include events both in the game itself but also opportunities in the game’s official Discord server and social media platforms. Specific token distribution details have not been revealed at the time of writing.
The $NOOB token will be available on both Ethereum and Immutable zkEVM for security and liquidity. You can look forward to the TGE taking place at some point in Q4 2024, according to the roadmap in the whitepaper.
