MOBOX Announces Shutdown of Clash of Moland and Asset Return Plan for September 2024

MOBOX, the gaming platform known for its innovative blockchain games, has announced the retirement of one of its prominent titles, Clash of Moland (CoM). This strategic-level game (SLG) will see its operations cease on September 19, 2024, after two years of engaging gameplay and community building.

What is Clash of Moland?

Clash of Moland has been a key part of the MOBOX lineup, drawing players with its deep strategic play and innovative use of blockchain technology. In the game, players could gather resources, form alliances, and battle others, all within a game that used play to earn format. As the game prepares to close, MOBOX is ensuring all players know what to expect and how to handle their in-game assets.

Important Updates for Players

As Clash of Moland approaches its conclusion, it’s essential for all players to note the following key dates and details: The game will remain accessible until September 19, 2024, which marks the last day to play. On this final day, MOBOX will initiate the process of returning funds from the game pool to players who have invested in the game. This asset distribution is planned to be completed within a week following the end of the final game season. This ensures that all players receive their investments back promptly as the game concludes its operations.

In the final stages of Clash of Moland, players need to be aware of how specific assets like MEC (Moland Ecosystem Coins) and the remaining game pool will be handled:

  • MEC Stakes: MEC, or Moland Ecosystem Coins, are tokens used within the game for various transactions and staking purposes. As the game concludes, any MEC that players have staked will be automatically returned to the addresses from which they were originally staked. This means that players do not need to perform any actions to retrieve their staked MEC; the process will be handled automatically by the game system, ensuring a seamless return of these assets.
  • Remaining Game Pool: The game pool consists of the accumulated resources, tokens, and other in-game assets that have been pooled together from player activities and transactions throughout the game’s lifespan. Following the conclusion of Season 26, which ends on September 19, 2024, the remaining funds in the game pool will be distributed to all players who have made monetary contributions to the game. This distribution is scheduled to occur within seven days after the seasonal settlement. All distributions will be made directly to the players’ corresponding BOX wallets, requiring no action from the players to claim these funds.
  • Additional Security Measures: It’s important to note that withdrawing MBOX, the primary currency of the MOBOX platform, from your BOX wallet may require additional security measures such as an SMS and transaction password. This is to ensure that all withdrawals are secure and that only the rightful owner can access these funds.

By providing these details, the transition from Clash of Moland‘s active gameplay to closure is intended to be straightforward and secure for all players, ensuring that their investments are returned to them without hassle.
