Mojo Melee Season 7: Leaves of Legend Is Live With New Cosmetics & More

Season 7 of Planet Mojo’s PvP blockchain auto battler, Mojo Melee, is now live and is set to last for 12 weeks, making this season’s Premium BattlePass packed with more rewards than ever before.

What’s New in Mojo Melee Season 7: Leaves of Legend?

This autumn-themed season marks the return of Rackmor Voortom, a formidable Champion who initially appeared in Season 4. You now have a second chance of getting him to become a part of your team, and you could also end up getting a new Rackmor skin while doing so, with the skin in tune for this time of the year. Rackmor Voortom starts every round with full Energy, and can summon up to 3 Skeletons that each have 100 Health, range 1, and a basic attack of 10 damage per second. As for Rackmor’s base attack damage, it’s been increased from 17/25/33 to 24/39/54 for this season. More balancing changes have been made to Batakamus Rex, whose attack speed has been changed from 2 to 1, making this Champion’s Base Attack faster than before. To balance this speed out, the Base Attack Damage for Batakamus has gone from 42/64/84 to 25/40/55.

Next to the new skin celebrating the return of Rackmor, players can look forward to earning more new Mojo Skins, including exclusive Tintable Mojo items that include new hairstyles and a new Tintable Fall Mojo costume, according to the X and Discord announcements. The build notes specifically reveal that there are 2 new Mojo Maker items: Budding Rose Hairstyle and Leaf Pompadour Hairstyle. It also lists a new Tintable Mojo Maker costume, and a new Mojo costume that consists of a tintable hat and shirt.

There are also two 2 SpellStones to get in the Premium BattlePass. One of them is the new Resistance SpellStone, which lowers the damage taken by nearby allies, while the other SpellStone is actually a re-release of Acid Rain. The Resistance SpellStone is placed on your side of the arena, and all allies that are within Range 1 of the SpellStone will take 50% lower damage for either 6, 8, or 10 seconds. Acid Rain is used on the enemy side of the arena, poisoning enemies in Range 1 of the SpellStone for 5, 9, or 13 seconds. When an enemy is poisoned, they take 10 damage per second and have their attack speed reduced by 50%.

Alongside these new additions and balancing changes, various bug fixes have also been made for a more polished blockchain gaming experience, including a fix to a spectating issue, as well as a problem where Krumble Gravelstache and Dawn Striker could still use their Special Ability when they’re not supposed to, and more. The Fall Arena is also of course fittingly back, while weekly tournaments will continue to take place each Friday.

What’s Included in the Mojo Melee Season 7 Premium BattlePass?

The new Premium BattlePass for this web3 game includes the previously-mentioned new additions. In summary, these are the new rewards you can get:

  • Champion – Rackmor Voortom
  • New Skin for Rackmor Voortom
  • New Tintable Mojo Maker Costume – Fall Mojo Costume
  • New Mojo Maker Item – Budding Rose Hairstyle
  • New Mojo Maker Item – Leaf Pompadour Hairstyle
  • New Mojo Costume – Fall Mojo (tintable hat and shirt)
  • New SpellStone – Resistance
  • SpellStone – Acid Rain
  • Season 7 BattlePass Badge

As this season is longer than previous ones, you’ll find that the new BattlePass has been extended to include double the rewards than the last one. As Planet Mojo has designed this BattlePass for a 12-week season, it will take longer to progress through it than before, even though the number of levels included are the same.

You can buy the new Premium BattlePass at Planet Mojo’s official shop for $14.99 in USDC or via credit card, with both options requiring MATIC for gas fees. It’s also possible to buy the BattlePass using $MOJO tokens to get a 10% discount, meaning that the price in that case is 803.15 $MOJO tokens, plus ETH gas fees on the Base network, as Planet Mojo has transitioned to building on Base earlier this year.
