These quests earn players rewards like experience points (XP) and “Street Kred,” an important in-game currency. The update introduces a proximity respawn feature, allowing players to respawn closer to where they were last active, reducing the frustration of being relocated far from the action. Previously, players might find themselves respawning far from their last location, leading to frustration and unnecessary time spent getting back to the action. With the new proximity respawn system, players will now reappear closer to where they left off, minimizing downtime and keeping them engaged in the game. This includes adding visible weapon controls for easier management, though rebound controls are still in development.
