New RavenQuest Land Sale Starts September 14th

Developer Tavernlight Games has officially announced that the land sale for free to play and earn MMORPG RavenQuest is scheduled to start on September 14th at 3 PM EST. Here’s everything you need to know about the land sale to properly participate, as well as details on what benefits you get from becoming a landowner.

Land Sale Info

A land supply of 4000 (down from 10k) will be up for grabs on September 14th across 3 phases. In the first phase, starting at 3 PM EST that day, users on the GTD (Guaranteed) Whitelist will have 60 minutes to mint 1 land plot. After this the sale moves on to the FCFS (First Come, First Serve) Whitelist phase, which also lasts an hour and limits users to buying 1 NFT. This is then followed by the public phase, where anyone will have the opportunity to take land ownership without any limit to the number of land a wallet can purchase. Previous land sales are said to have “sold out instantly” though, so you’ll likely want to be there on time for a chance at minting at least one plot of land. If you want to get in on the whitelist phases, then you might still have a chance of doing so until September 13th by linking your game account to Discord and reposting the official announcement on X. Players who have the “Premier Settler” role in the game’s official Discord server can participate in the GTD Whitelist, while “Settler” members can take part in the FCFS Whitelist phase.

There are a total of 5 land sizes: Small Estate, Medium Estate, Large Estate, Stronghold, and Fort. Only prices for the first 3 have been revealed, while the other two seem to only be available “upon accepted application,” according to the whitepaper. The Small Estate is priced at $108, while the Medium Estate is $510 and the Large Estate is $2550. You will need to use the Immutable Passport for this sale, with a video guide planned to be published by the developers to help you bridge funds and be ready to take part in the sale.

Thanks to the game’s open-world housing system, land holders will be able to claim any part of the game’s world that they want, with the whitepaper stating that this is done on a first-come, first-serve basis based on the order that land is bought in this sale and previous ones as well.

Benefits of Being a Landowner

By becoming a landowner, you get to earn a share of 50% of all Ecosystem Rewards, which consists of an exclusive 250 million $QUEST pool for landholders that will be claimable daily. Next to that, you also get access to a 10 million Early Access Landowner Exclusive $QUEST Pool.

Owning land will let you collect a variety of resources by unlocking various activities, such as Farming, Woodcutting, Husbandry, and more. The resources you gain from these activities let you craft various items as well as create Tradepacks, which are packages that have a combination of different materials you chose to put, which you can then transport to a Tradepost and exchange it there for Silver and potentially rare resources. Silver is an in-game currency that will be possible to convert to the upcoming premium on-chain token, $QUEST. You can play to airdrop $QUEST right now in the early access version of RavenQuest.

With land ownership comes the ability to create your own customizable house, with the size and design choices available depending on the size of the land, so bigger plots can create a house with up to 4 rooms. There are many different types of rooms you can build, and each of them comes with various in-game benefits. For example, a Bedroom gives you bonus experience for everything, but an Arcana Room increases the Wisdom of your character, while a Workshop can improve your carpentry.

Each Land NFT comes with a random Rarity Perk. You will be able to roll this after getting your plot to see which of the following ones you’ll get: Common (1500), Uncommon (1000), Grand (780), Rare (440), Arcane (200), Mythic (60), or Legendary (20). This Rarity Perk will influence the kind of perk you can actually get, and you’ll be able to roll for that specific perk 30 days before RavenQuest goes live globally. The higher the Rarity Perk, the better chances of getting something significantly useful to your plot, such as a Fishing Pond.

Holders of land will also be able to rent out their plots to passively earn $QUEST tokens from Patch 1.1.0 and onwards, so if you don’t have time to spend taking care of your land, then you can hand it over to someone who can do so. Landowners will be able to set the rental price and duration of the scholarship.
