Two forces in web3 gaming team up as Mocaverse and Nifty Island announce a special quest partnership. For a limited time, players can visit Mocaverse Island (within the Nifty Island game) and participate in various PVP matches to earn Blooms and Realm Points.
Additionally, Nifty Island is still running phase 3 of their play to airdrop campaign through the end of September. So you’re potentially earning points towards two airdrops by playing! Pretty sweet!
Play and Earn on Mocaverse Island
To earn Realm Points in this event, you will need a MOCA ID and a Nifty Island account and you will need to link them together. You can do this by accessing your profile within the Nifty Island app, and then going to the Socials tab. You will also need to make sure that you join the Mocaverse community in Nifty Island.
After that just start the game, open up the map, search for Mocaverse Island, and join in the fun! Once on the island, join or start your own mini-game match and compete to earn points. The games are pretty basic PVP, with Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Infection game modes. But if you get enough players they can be pretty fun!
Participants earn Realm Points just for signing up, and for earning 1000 and 2000 Blooms on Mocaverse Island. You can also earn Realm Points (and Nifty Island airdrop points) by minting a Nifty Island NFT from the Bloom shop.
Earn Blooms by participating in the matches, completing in-game quests, and finishing quests on the Nifty Island play to airdrop page!
On top of this there are a series of limited time Mocaverse quests where players can earn entries into raffles for various items including Realm Points, Legendary Pistol NFTs, and even a Legendary Palm NFT, one of the most coveted items in Nifty Island!
These raffles will be a daily, recurring event, encouraging a steady stream of player activity and giving participants plenty of opportunities to join.
Nifty Island is free to play and signing up for a MOCA ID is also free. So there’s no reason not to get started now!
MOCA Token Airdrop – Phase 2 Staking Info
The first round of the MOCA token airdrop was only a few months ago. And, despite there being no use-case for the token, the price point has remained strong. Now Animoca Brands is preparing for phase two of the airdrop, and they’ve given us a little bit of information about it.
Just like the first round those with Moca NFTs and/or MOCA IDs with accumulated Realm Points will be eligible for the token airdrop. Only this time around, there will also be bonuses for those who have staked MOCA tokens.
If you staked at the first airdrop and haven’t touched your tokens, then you’re good to go. Otherwise, you’ll need to get some MOCA tokens staked by September 26th.

What is Nifty Island?
Nifty Island is a free to play, social game where players own and develop their own Islands. But unlike other virtual world ecosystems, you don’t need to hold any NFTs to build in Nifty Island. Everyone gets free access to their own, personal Island plot!
Players can customize their Island as they like, creating social spaces, games, and other activities with the built-in tools. They can also display images of many NFTs that they hold in their connected wallet.
Games within an Island run in their own instance, but they use the Island terrain as the map. So creating an interesting social space and a fun game space are key to attracting visitors. Players earn Blooms by playing and completing quests, as well as from other players visiting their Island. Blooms are an off-chain currency that can be used to mint Nifty Island NFTs.
Nifty Island supports supports NFT collections from numerous other projects, allowing players with PFPs from partner collections use specially themed avatars in the game. This includes CryptoPunks, Pudgy Penguins, Azuki, Moca, and many more!
