Social gaming platform Tribally has launched a Play to Airdrop event on August 27th, giving participants time until September 2nd, 11:59 PM UTC, to earn enough points by completing varied tasks in order to rank high enough to be eligible for a share of the 24 million $TRIBAL reward pool.
How to Take Part in Tribally’s Play to Airdrop Event
To get started, simply head to the platform’s P2A page linked in this announcement and create an account if you don’t have one already. You can do so using Discord, X, Twitch, and Facebook. Once you’re done with that, to truly be eligible to receive your airdrop rewards if you get enough points, you will also need to connect a Coinbase Smart Wallet, as prizes are set to be distributed on-chain via Base.
How to Earn Points
With all that set up, you’re good to go with stacking up as many points as you can while there’s still time. Points are earned by completing various different tasks that range from connecting social media accounts and wallets to reaching Gamer Score milestones and owning certain assets from NFT collections of various blockchain games.
Gamer Score
There are a total of 10 Gamer Score milestones to reach, but what is Gamer Score? Well, it’s a score that is calculated based on your achievements across a variety of web3 games partnered with this platform. This means that by being active in Mighty Action Heroes, Axie Infinity, Pixels, Apeiron, and more, you get to increase your Gamer Score. Next to activity, there are also other metrics used to calculate your Gamer Score, but these can vary from one game to another. For example, your performance in recent Mighty Action Heroes matches is taken into consideration, while Axie Infinity: Origins takes into account your all-time highest rank in the Arena, but also your current Arena rank.
Quests
Among the available tasks are also Quests, which are divided into Social Quests, Daily Quests, and Battle Pass Quests. Daily Quests are gameplay missions that can range from winning 1 arena match in Apeiron to finishing in the top 5 at the end of a battle royale match with at least 1 kill in Mighty Action Heroes. Becoming a Battle Pass holder will get you 3 extra quests to complete every day alongside various other benefits. In fact, simply owning a Tribally Battle Pass for this event is rewarded with 370 points. To get a Battle Pass though, you need to have 300 $TRIBAL tokens. The $TRIBAL token is not yet officially live, but you can already start earning it on the platform by completing quests, predicting the winner in Daily Showdown, and by claiming Bounties, which are based around owning specific game assets.
Challenges
Participants can earn points from winning free bets on Challenges, as well as by playing in Challenges themselves. Challenges are basically 1v1 PvP matches that players can currently set up for Axie Infinity Classic and Apeiron. Setting up a Challenge requires depositing 10 $TRIBAL and writing the name of the player you’d like to battle. Competing in Challenges lets you win 5 points even when you lose, while 10 points is awarded to the winner.
Prize Pool
By ranking among the top 4000 players with the most points, you will earn a share of $TRIBAL tokens from a 24 million token airdrop pool. The below image shows you exactly how many tokens you can get by reaching a certain leaderboard position. If you manage to rank high enough to win tokens, then you won’t have long to find out their potential worth, at least early on, as the $TRIBAL Public Token Sale is scheduled to take place on September 5th, 3 days after this Play to Airdrop event is over.
