Revolving Games has announced updates to its blockchain gaming ecosystem, unveiling the Patrols gameplay mode and enhanced rewards for NFT holders through the Interceptor Node program. These updates aim to enhance player engagement and reward long-term community support as the platform approaches its Token Generation Event (TGE).
Patrols: A New PvE Gameplay Mode
The newly introduced Patrols mode is a Player vs. Environment (PvE) feature designed for Heroes at levels 1–9, making it ideal for players just starting out or looking for a straightforward combat experience. This mode features a Choose Your Own Adventure system, where players make decisions that shape their progress and outcomes.
Patrols also offer exclusive equipment drops as built-in rewards. This mode combines accessibility for newcomers with challenges that experienced players will appreciate.
Interceptor Node Provides Extended Rewards for NFT Holders
Revolving Games has introduced an Interceptor Node reward extension program, providing an additional incentive for early adopters of the RCADE ecosystem. Nodes serve as essential infrastructure in the RCADE network, allowing NFT holders to earn rewards and support the platform’s growth.
Key Details of the Program:
- Eligibility: NFT holders who plugged in their assets during the Early Adopter Rewards period can participate.
- Bonus Rewards: Participants earn a 30% bonus on $bRCADE, the platform’s pre-launch currency, by extending their plug-in period for an additional six months.
- Full Unlock: By extending the plug-in, users also unlock 100% of their Early Adopter Rewards at TGE.
The extension period begins November 23 at 8 AM PST and runs until December 9 at 8 AM PST. However, unplugging NFTs permanently forfeits eligibility, with penalties such as downgrading an Interceptor Node to a Scout Node.
What Are Nodes and Why Do They Matter?
Nodes are blockchain-powered assets in the RCADE ecosystem, allowing NFT holders to participate in governance, earn rewards, and interact with the platform. Different node types, such as Nexus Nodes and Interceptor Nodes, provide varying levels of benefits. Nodes act as a bridge between players and the broader gaming ecosystem, incentivizing early support and long-term engagement.
What Is Revolving Games?
Revolving Games is a blockchain gaming studio focused on creating innovative, next-generation gaming experiences. Backed by investors like Pantera Capital, Animoca Brands, and Polygon, the studio is behind popular projects such as Skyborne Legacy and Project NOVA. With a focus on blending traditional gaming elements with blockchain infrastructure, Revolving Games is building a dynamic ecosystem for players and developers alike.
The RCADE Ecosystem
The RCADE ecosystem ties together multiple games under a single blockchain framework, with $RCADE as its core currency. Players earn $bRCADE by engaging with the ecosystem, which will convert 1:1 into $RCADE at TGE. This interconnected system rewards participation and enables seamless transitions between games.
Key features of the ecosystem include:
- Integrated Rewards: A unified currency system that connects games like Skyborne Legacy and Project NOVA.
- Governance Participation: $RCADE holders can influence the platform’s future through governance mechanisms.
- Cross-Game Compatibility: Nodes and NFTs work across games, allowing players to maximize their utility.
