Trade NFTs for $KARRAT With My Pet Hooligan Marketplace V1

AMGI Studios has officially released V1 of the native web3 marketplace for their free to play PvP game, My Pet Hooligan.

What Is the My Pet Hooligan Marketplace?

The My Pet Hooligan Marketplace V1 is the game’s own native platform for trading Hooligans and Zuckbot NFTs using the $KARRAT token. These NFT collections were previously only tradable using ETH, making this marketplace a more accessible way for the community to get these assets from other players. Trading assets from these original collections on this NFT marketplace comes with no fees or royalties.

My Pet Hooligan Marketplace V1 Features & Future Plans

While this first version only supports the Hooligans and Zuckbots collections, the official Medium post reveals that the team wants this marketplace for be a web3 hub for collectors and players, so you can look forward to seeing the studio provide time-gated drops, limited-edition cosmetic wearables, exclusive unlocks, emotes, and various benefits for using the dApp in future editions. Next to all these offerings, the goal is to also add in features such as rentals, card payments, and subscription models to make it easier and more user-friendly for anyone to use, regardless of their blockchain tech knowledge.

That being said, this first iteration lets you make transactions by signing in with your wallet holding $KARRAT tokens on the Ethereum network. As such it is a simple but functional marketplace for the time being in which you can look at listed items and see their prices, as well as sort by collection and more specifically by NFT properties. If you want to buy multiple NFTs, you can add them to a shopping cart, making it easier to buy in bulk. And that’s about it for this version, as the team’s focus for this release was to prioritize seamless NFT transactions, setting up a foundation on which they can introduce more advanced features such as price analysis, filtering, and metadata viewing.

In the future, you can look forward to seeing standard marketplace features get added over time. These are said to include the following:

  • Activity History – View past activity such as bids, sales, and listings to see what assets are currently trending.
  • Trait Viewing – Enables users to view NFT metadata to make certain traits and rarity visible to everyone.
  • Price Filters – Easily set a price range to show listings that only fit your criteria.
  • Offers & Bidding – Opens up the option to bid on items as well as send offers for the seller to consider.
  • Charts & Market Trends – Charts will give you a clear visual overview over marketplace. activity as they’ll display how the values of various items fluctuate over time to help you potentially find market trends.
  • Search Functionality – A search feature will be introduced to make it easier to find exactly the NFT you’re looking for.
  • Card Payments – Improves the onboarding experience for web2 gamers by making it possible to buy on-chain assets without needing to use crypto tokens.
  • Subscriptions – Subscriptions services that will be crypto native are planned to be introduced, but no specific details on what these services will exactly provide have been revealed at the time of writing.
  • Rentals – A secure feature that will make it possible for holders to simply rent their items out to players who’d like to use them for a temporary period.
  • Gas – The goal is to lower blockchain complexities for users by introducing gas abstraction and sponsorship, so you won’t need to hold 2 tokens to complete a transaction. According to the official post, this feature “will be in line with adopted L2/L3 solutions,” so it’ll be interesting to see which Ethereum-based chain(s) the developers end up choosing for their platform
  • StreetKred – Teased at the end with “REDACTED,” so we can only guess what AMGI Studios has in store for the community with this feature. The game itself lets players earn Street Kred as an in-game currency for upgrading abilities and gear, so perhaps we can look forward to seeing the currency integrated into the marketplace itself to allow players to spend their earned Street Kred on various goodies.

As the developers continue to improve the newly-released marketplace, you can continue enjoying My Pet Hooligan as a free to play title in early access, which recently received a major update called Double Tap: Pt Deux.
