Amihan Entertainment, the developers of Everseed, have announced the soft launch of a new Telegram game: Farm Frens.
What Is Farm Frens?
Farm Frens is a web3 farming game playable for free on Telegram (mobile only at the time of writing). It’s set in the same universe as Everseed and as such is designed to bring the IP and its characters closer to a wider audience. The development team has been secretly working on this cute little title the past few months, and thanks to the community’s loyalty, passion, and feedback over the years, the studio was inspired to create this expansion that they refer to as being “one-of-a-kind” while guaranteeing that their new farming game is “unlike any you’ve ever seen.”
The September 16th launch is said to represent early soft launch access, released as the developers’ gift to the community, so you can play to airdrop right now for free. Everseed NFTs will gain more utility thanks to this web3 game, and these benefits will include a variety of rewards such as exclusive cosmetics and more that will be revealed to holders in the future once the team is ready to get NFT owners involved in helping make decisions for upcoming perks. Everseed Patrols have been taken offline for a temporary period in order to allow the studio to completely focus on this new farming game, stating that “larger market conditions” is the reason why the launch of Farm Frens took priority over Everseed.

Your goal is to plant and grow crops in a colorful but bizarre world where living the farm life is a crazy experience consisting of silly daily surprises to deal with while raising animals that are not your typical livestock.
Taking care of your farm is not something you do alone, as your farm consists of cute cat-like humanoid characters called Frens who automatically work on the farm for you. Over time, as your crops grow, your Frens will harvest them and sell them to earn coins. To help your trusty companions be more productive and efficient, you can jump in and make various upgrades to create a better farm. The better your farm is, the more rewards you generate, which means that you can get bigger airdrop rewards. What kind of airdrops players will get is not exactly known at the time of writing. There are various daily quests you can do, as well as social-based achievements you can complete, with most of them based on inviting up to 20 friends to the game. Some of these tasks seem to reward a different kind of currency referred to as $DUNG. Opening up the “Yield Field” screen reveals two more currencies: $DIRT and $NUTS. Upgrading crops is also done using coins, and the higher level the Crop is, the more value it has when you sell it. Crops also have various other stats that get enhanced over time too, including regrow time, chances of dropping a chest, crop sell time, and more. You can get new types of Crops by opening Chests.
If you want to get more Land Plots, you’ll need to use coins to level up your existing one, increasing not only the number of plots you have to plant more Crops in, but also reducing tiling time, the time it takes to plant a seed, and so on.
As for Chests, upgrading them increases the minimum number of coins you can get when opening them, while upping your chances of gaining cosmetics from the Slot Machine and more.
