Project Nova developer Revolving Games has teamed up with Seedify to host an Open Node Sale of Scout Nodes exclusively on the popular web3 incubator and launchpad.
How is Seedify’s Open Node Sale Structured?
This is Seedify’s very first public type of node sale after they introduced the idea of Open Sales near the end of October, meaning that you don’t actually need their $SFUND token to participate. You don’t need to register either, and you don’t even need to complete KYC to buy the node.
The sale starts on November 14th at 1 PM UTC and will end on November 18th at 1 PM UTC, giving everyone the opportunity to purchase Scout Nodes at a low FDV alongside a “generous airdrop” of $RCADE tokens once the TGE takes place potentially in Q1 2025.
The price per node is $288 at a $64 million FDV, with this price said to represent a 20% discount “over the Public Sale price” of $360, according to the official announcement. You can get a bonus 5% discount by using a KOL code to make the price $270 instead. Purchases are made using $ETH on the Arbitrum network. A snapshot for “setting ETH conversion” is scheduled for November 12th at 2 PM UTC.
Each Scout Node comes with an airdrop of 180,000 $RCADE tokens, with 10% of the airdrop unlocking at TGE, while the rest are set to gradually unlock over 3 years. There is no limit to the number of nodes you can buy per wallet, so you can get even more tokens by owning multiple nodes. Your purchased Node NFTs will be delivered to your wallet 1 month after the sale is over. Owning this license NFT will grant you access to the node software itself that you can activate without needing to meet any specific hardware requirements thanks to the use of a delegation process. Running this software will allow you to help the RCADE blockchain and various games network services run smoothly in a decentralized way.
It looks like the sale will feature 5 tiers to buy Node Licenses in, with each tier containing 20,000 Node Licenses. The discounted price applies for the first 3 tiers, after which it increases, as seen here.
What Is Revolving Games’ Scout Node?
Scout Nodes serve as the foundation of the RCADE Network, a blockchain gaming ecosystem by web3 publisher Revolving Games. With these nodes, the team can start decentralizing their platform by allowing the crypto gaming community to become node operators.
To decentralize the RCADE Network, the studio is undertaking a two-phase approach.
In Phase 1, the community can buy Scout Nodes that can easily be used by anyone thanks to using worldwide data centers that don’t require users to do any complicated setups to start operating their nodes. This is where node operators can help provide network stability while getting rewarded with $bRCADE, which can be converted into $RCADE at TGE at a 1:1 rate. Based on details in the official tokenomics and emissions overview, there will be around 5000 $bRCADE up for grabs each month.
Decentralization continues in Phase 2, where users operating nodes will have the option to actually use their own hardware to help strengthen network security, while continuing to earn $RCADE, with 45% of its 40 billion total supply dedicated to rewarding license holders of Scout Nodes. This phase starts after TGE and will come with monthly reward distribution of around 5000 $RCADE tokens. It will be possible to earn bonus rewards by connecting Scout Nodes with other NFTs. For example, plugging 19 Scout nodes into one RG Byte will guarantee you more daily rewards, while linking a Nexus NFT to a Scout Node will upgrade the node to an Interceptor Node, unlocking bigger rewards of around 40k $RCADE per month.
A pre-sale of Scout Nodes took place in August this year in the form of a whitelisted and public pre-sale, meaning that this month’s public sale could be the last opportunity to buy a Scout Node NFT from the team.
