Trial Xtreme Freedom Gets $24M to Fuel Web3 Expansion

Trial Xtreme creator Gameplay Galaxy has raised $24 million to expand its Web3 gaming landscape. This major funding boost comes after an $11 million extension to its initial seed round, led by Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle. This funding will be used to develop the latest game in the series, Trial Xtreme Freedom, featuring blockchain tech.

Trial Xtreme Freedom is not just another game in the series; it’s a whole new level. This version, set in the world of extreme motorbike racing, includes Web3 features. Players can own, trade, and even create their tracks, bikes, and other in-game items as NFTs. This gives players more control and involvement in the game, making it more player-driven.

Doron Kagan, CEO of Gameplay Galaxy, is excited about what Web3 can do for gaming. “We believe that Web3 represents the natural evolution of the Free-to-Play model, paving the way for the most significant transition in gaming history,” said Kagan. “We’re excited to be at the forefront of this revolution, driving innovation and creating value for our players and stakeholders.”

According to COO Maya Gurevich, “Web3 isn’t just about changing the gaming landscape — it’s about redefining ownership and participation in the digital world.”

“In traditional corporate structures, companies control the assets, and the goal is often to maximize player spending and engagement for profit,” said Gurevich. “However, Web3 introduces a decentralized model where players actively participate in the ecosystem, influencing decisions and sharing in the value they help create.”

Trial Xtreme Freedom is currently in the Soft Launch phase, with a Technical Test run in India and the Philippines. The test is vital to ensure everything works smoothly before its official launch. Players can try out new bikes, levels, and features, including an improved garage system and a redesigned Festival Zone. The test also includes new tournaments and characters, giving a taste of the game’s advanced development.

Since its first release in 2011, the Trial Xtreme series has been a fan-favorite in mobile gaming, with over 250 million downloads. Trial Xtreme Freedom continues this legacy, offering a free to play model with optional purchases.

Gameplay Galaxy’s team of 50 veterans plans to make Trial Xtreme Freedom the most immersive game in the series. They will make it accessible to all, with no need for crypto wallets to play. While NFTs and tokens are planned for the future, they won’t be part of the game during the testing phase.

As the game moves forward, the team plans to introduce a token system and various NFTs, including bikes and tracks. These digital items will play a key role in the game’s economy, offering new ways for players to engage. While details are still under wraps, the studio is also planning future airdrops for early supporters.

All in all, the $24 million raised by Gameplay Galaxy is a big win for both the Trial Xtreme series and the gaming world. As the game gets closer to its official launch, both players and investors are eager to see how this project will unfold. With a strong base and a committed team, Trial Xtreme Freedom is set to make waves in Web3 gaming.
