Chromia-powered onchain multiplayer building and farming game My Neighbor Alice is having Beta Season 2 start on September 24th, and anyone can claim a free trial land before it starts right now while supply remains. In the meantime, you can join the $ALICE Airdrop Party straight away, as the event just began on September 17th and will last for 9 weeks.
What Is the $ALICE Airdrop Party?
The $ALICE Airdrop Party is a 9-week long event in which players compete to earn points to win $ALICE and special NFT rewards. There are new tasks every week to do, with the event itself split into 3 waves, each of which last 3 weeks and come with their own leaderboard to reward the top 100 players with the most points, though it may be possible to win some prizes outside that range as well.
The first wave is now live until October 6th, so you can start completing tasks every week for this wave to scoop up as many points as you can. Once the first wave is over, the points will reset and the prizes will be accordingly distributed on October 7th before the next wave goes underway on October 15th, when everyone can compete once again starting from a clean slate. You need to have a My Neighbor Alice account to claim your rewards, as the team will be sending out $ALICE tokens to your in-game balance.
Quests can be found in a new dashboard on the official website that requires connecting your wallet to the BNB Smart Chain and linking your wallet to the Discord version of the dashboard to start doing tasks. Linking your X account to the Discord dashboard is also available and needed to complete Twitter-related tasks. A handy video guide has been posted by the developers at the end of the Twitter thread in case you need help getting everything set up.
Tasks range from doing social quests to completing in-game activities, all awarding you with points to climb to the top of the leaderboard. In the event of a tie on the leaderboard, the player who reached that number of points faster gets the advantage. Some quests may be available in a more limited time than others, so while certain tasks may last the entire wave, there will also be quests more time-bound than others that you’ll probably want to complete in order to collect more points.
For the entire event, more than $25k worth of $ALICE is said to be up for grabs. Get bonus points and win tickets to craft special NFTs by participating in Game Nights.
How to Play My Neighbor Alice Beta Season 2
To take part in the second Beta Season of My Neighbor Alice, you will need to claim a free trial land as soon as possible, as they’re only available in limited supply, with no specific details available on how many are actually still left. This land will give you full access to the web3 game for free. Claim your free trial land by clicking the button on this page from the official website, which will redirect you to the claim section where you’ll need to connect your wallet and verify your email address to successfully claim your plot of land. If you’re doing this for the first time, the website will probably take you to your profile page after confirming verification on the email they send you – simply head to the Beta Season section to see your claimed free trial land. The page displaying your land also lets you download the game’s launcher for Windows PCs.
If you miss out on claiming the free trial land, then your only option will be to buy a land NFT from the game’s official marketplace. The floor price at the time of writing seems to be 150 $ALICE (~$145).
